I found out that my date to my date party (he accepted my invitation and everything last weekend) just became facebook official with his girlfriend from home.
Last Valentines Day, the guy I was sort of seeing sent flowers to me and another girl. They were exactly the same, down to the note with the flowers.
Valentine’s Day is just not the holiday for me.
But really this is so awkward.
and god, I’m glad I’ve become much more comparatively normal (as opposed to then). It’s something you should never do if you don’t want to feel highly uncomfortable/embarrassed/stupid/pretentious.
Although it was cool to revisit/remember things and people I used to talk to. I may want to get in contact with some of them again actually.
But it was mostly terrible, never do it.

In the “doll test,” psychologists Kenneth and Mamie Clark used four plastic, diaper-clad dolls, identical except for color. They showed the dolls to black children between the ages of three and seven and asked them questions to determine racial perception and preference. Almost all of the children readily identified the race of the dolls. However, when asked which they preferred, the majority selected the white doll and attributed positive characteristics to it. The Clarks also gave the children outline drawings of a boy and girl and asked them to color the figures the same color as themselves. Many of the children with dark complexions colored the figures with a white or yellow crayon. The Clarks concluded that “prejudice, discrimination, and segregation” caused black children to develop a sense of inferiority and self-hatred. A letter from theoretical physicist Richard P. Feynman to his wife Arline, dated April 1945. He was working around the clock on the Manhattan Project at this point, but sacrificed sleep to write her letters at night. Arline would die from tuberculosis a few months later.

I’ve decided that I was happier with Tumblr in my life.
Where I could talk to myself and publish my thoughts for strangers to see.
But when I go back and look at my old posts, I cringe.
However, it reminds me of all the funny things I have gotten myself into.
So yes, I’m back.
